Tova Epp is a professional actor, and also a senior tax preparer. She has worked at Artbooks Inc for 15 years, helping fellow artists navigate the complexities of self employed taxes. Tova has been a Dirt student since 2019.

Description: 

This workshop will cover the intricacies of tax for actors, from understanding how you get paid, to PRS cheques, to basic bookkeeping. 

As independent contractors, it is our responsibility to report our income accurately, even when we are the last people to get any information about it. 

This workshop will walk you through:

• Basic bookkeeping
• Help understand agent fees
• Union deductions and more
• Get ready for April’s taxes!
