Understanding Actors’ Finances – Online Workshop on July 12
On Monday July 12 @ 5:30pm EST Cynthia Chan will be hosting a 90 minute online workshop on “Understanding Actors’ Finances”.
As an actor you are running your own business and having to regulate your cash flow so that you can pay your rent, and live in between paycheques. It can be easy to get overwhelmed by the complexities of being self-employed. In this workshop Cynthia will go over the nuts and bolts of what actors need to know regarding their finances.
The following topics will be covered:
1. Breaking down each paycheque for tax, emergency funds + savings.
2. Understanding HST.
3. Managing Cash Flow
